Sound Level Meters

ACI exclusively uses Bruel and Kjaer Type 1, 2250/2270 sound level meters for all noise measurements.  The equipment meets or exceeds all industry standards and are industry leaders for noise measurements. 

 

Sound Level Meters are certified annually and field calibrators are certified annually by an external laboratory to ensure highly accurate results.

 

 

                           The sound level meters are capable of the following:

  • Simultaneous dBA, dBC, 1/3-Octave measurements
  • FFT Analysis
  • Full digital high resolution audio recordings
  • Real-time frequency analysis
  • Building Acoustic Measurements such as STC, IIC, RT
  • Sound Power Level as per ISO 9614
  • GPS positioning of measurement locations
